Patient Tailored Optometry
At Nora Eye Care, your vision is our focus. We value the opportunity to provide care for your family’s eye care needs. We diagnose and treat a large variety of visual and medical eye problems by using state-of-the-art technology and exceptional evaluation and management skills. Our doctors spend quality time with each patient to ensure that treatment is tailored to your needs. We take the time to truly listen, so you will never feel rushed.
A Pillar of the Nora Community
Nora Eye Care was founded in 1961 by Dr. C. David Landaw. Dr. Landaw was an early adopter of new technology and was one of the first doctors in the area to fit soft contact lenses in addition to the more mainstream PMMA and rigid gas permeable lenses of the time.
The optometric profession has evolved greatly since Nora Eye Care’s inception. It has shifted toward medical eye care and ocular disease management while still continuing to include traditional refractive and routine eye care. As the practice grew to provide for more patients, its location was moved from a smaller, shared office space to Nora Plaza, and finally to its current location at 86th and Guilford Ave. Conveniently located in the heart of Nora on the north side of Indianapolis, we proudly serve patients in Indianapolis, Carmel, Fishers, Lawrence, Zionsville, Westfield, Noblesville, and the surrounding areas.
We love our community! Our doctors have donated their time and expertise to provide school screenings for Washington and Pike Townships first grade vision screenings, school nurse trainings, and we collect glasses for donation for the local Lions Club. We are proud supporters of local arts and are a sponsor of the Indiana Wind Symphony.
